People the ironic

death often allow people to be remembered but it doesnt mean the whole world should be going this route just to be remember.

Beloved Michael Jackson passed away on 25th june 2009 at the age of 50. it was then when people start saying good things about him. pedophile, child rapist and alot of other awful names were said. and now all people could say was, "he was a music legend", "he was a genius", "he was a good man who inspires me.".

the media just cant go any faker than this i guess. praising the person when only he's dead? Heath Ledger, Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui, Teresa Teng. isn't human being just ironic?

i've always thought MJ's music is really good eventhough i cant never make out his personal life. but like it said it's Personal. who cares about what he does to his face or he owns a Neverland and a mini zoo in the Neverland or the fact that he might be sleeping in oxygen tank...and the list goes on...who carea abt all these when you can provide good music.

Lipstick Jungle

The book which i purchased ytd. LipStick Jungle by Candace Bushnell. The same author as Sex and The City.Every term i would try to visit the National Library to borrow a book. i cant do it this time round due to Mini Collection. The last book i bought was by Nora Roberts i think last year.

Will try to start my reading ASAP.

This collection talks about people coming to a stage in their life not knowing wad they really want in life. Inspired by Labyrinth, this had people going round and round in a circular motion maze feeling lost and hopeless or even afraid of their future.

Mini Collection is finally over....phew....eventhou i did not win the first but still i survived in one piece. i kept telling myself that i must win in this. to me winning is not about winning the first in the whole mini collection. but rather i must really learn from it.

to be frank i like Alfie Leong's comment during the pre-judging. i feel i learn alot from it. just like i learn alot from susan. alot of life experiences i would say. but i'm not sure if this is consider winning.

but right not 3 weeks of hol i'm already down to 2 i must really make use of the time wisely.

in time to come i would like to transform this blog bit by bit into part of my portfolio to showcase my work.

latest news

received news ytd from a friend, Thuy, that she'll be flying back to her country for study due to certain issues in her life. i'm so sad that she couldn't continue this 'battle' of Mini Collection with me in class.

this is life i guess. 天底下没有不散之宴席。v true indeed. but nonetheless, Vietnam is consider quite near for me to visit.

this reminds me of Anusa, a Nepalese friend of mine. since 2002 till now, for 7 long yrs, the only chance of communication i have with her was thru the email and msn. and due to time difference (she's in America) it's really very difficult to stay in contact. but i know she's constantly on my mind. just like Thuy, i know she'll constantly be in my mind.

what is the worst thing that can happen to you during a submission?

techinical error, your comp decided it's time to fall sick...

my comp gave up on me, or rather i gave up on it.thinking about it i realised that life without photoshop and illustrator is a torture.

anyway just to make my life feels abit better, i had a funny encounter. i board the bus to school and was listening to 'Breakin' Dishes' by Rihanna on my MP3 player. for those who have heard the song before will know that it's quite a fast tempo song. and i was standing next to this uncle in his 6os 70s i guess. i do not know what he was mumbling about with the earpiece on. All i saw was he kept kodding his head which coincide with the tempo of my song.

silly things in life do happen around us and i just find the scene really amusing.
